TRAXEYE - green eyes light the way!

These professional "glow in the dark" studs are applicable for roadmarking, in marinas, cycleways or other public spaces.

The photo luminescent disk, made of special cristals, will light up in the night. The white ring makes the studs easily spotted also in daylight.

After just 8 minutes of daylight it glows brightly for 12 hours and is guaranteed for at least five years operation. Fantastic for marking of cyclepaths, pathways, caravan sites and parks! TraxEye has many uses to help ensure safety for the public.

The TraxEye Safety Illumination System has no limitations on the number of TraxEye Marker Studs that can be used. In order to maintain the system's effectiveness at night and in low-light conditions, four meters is the maximum distance recommended between each TraxEye Marker Stud to illuminate a particular area or pathway.

As more and more customers agree, its the best "green" illumination solution on the market today. TraxEye Marker Studs are maintenance-free and have no atmospheric pollution for the surrounding area. Safety and orientation will increase.

Visibility and safety

In some instances, there may be safety issues requiring the TraxEye Marker Studs to be spaced much closer than 4 meters in order to better define the boundaries of a public area or pathway. For example in situations when a pathway may narrow or dip drastically, or make a sudden sharp turn. In cases like this or if the pathway shifts to uneven ground, the pathway should be better defined by installing TraxEye Marker Studs for example 2 meters apart at that particular spot.

Aside from anchoring studs no more than 4 meters apart, there are no hard-and-fast rules regarding spacing. As it's name suggests, the main objective of the TraxEye Safety Illumination System is safety .

Therefore, the goal is to space the TraxEye close enough together to give pedestrians and cyclists enough visual input to use the public area safely at night and in low-light conditions. Regardless of how the TraxEye is configured, simply having one in place is a giant leap in the right direction.

Short explanation about installation of the TraxEye

The most common surface types for installing the TraxEye are asphalt, wood, brick, concrete, mud, sand, and gravel.

The TraxEye is quite simple to install. In most cases, all that is required is a nylon or rubber hammer along with the unit's anchoring pin. A strong exterior WHITE epoxy should be applied to the base of The TraxEye Marker Stud prior to anchoring, regardless of the surface type. The adhesive is required to minimize dislocation or removal of the TraxEye Marker Stud due to vandalism, exposure to the elements, or the accelerated wear normally associated with high-traffic public areas, whether indoors or outdoors. For hard surface types it's necessary to drill.
